Save articles to read later#107

I often come across articles I really want to read when I don’t have the time to do it on the spot. I’d love to save them to come back to

Not an AO feature, but I’d recommend making a Pocket account, which works across a whole bunch of sites (getpocket.com)

New feedback to consider:

Someone wrote in that they’d like to see a membership platform with the ability to save articles like news accounts, saying they are not a fan of Pocket and prefer going directly to their site of choice and having personalized preferences with an account at that site.

I get the AO newsletter and almost always see something that I am interested in reading later - but short of leaving that tab open on my browser, there isn’t any way for me to remember which newsletter and which article I wanted to read (I am not a fan of Pocket, and would MUCH rather be able to do that directly on your site)

Ideally, I’d love to be able to add articles to a list (to plan my next vacation, for example) but at a minimum, being able to at least “favorite” a piece of content seems like a pretty basic piece of functionality that most websites have these days. I would also think that by not having the ability to save an article in any way, you are losing a lot of return traffic.

I came accross this site via a random article and decided to check out the site where I immediately found multiple different articles that are very intriguing thus persuading me to make an account!! I don’t have any time this morning to read long articles and was hoping i could save these multiple interesting items into my account instead of having to open A BUNCH of tabs on my phone but I am disappointed to see no such option :(

Please consider adding the option to save or favorite articles directly on your site!!! I haven’t came across anything similar to the content you have and am really looking forward to the oppertunity to explore when I have the free time.
