Fix the leaderboards for each country/city#14

They have not been updated in years now and it would be really nice if they could be updated. Even if it is just once a month!

This would also help with the SEO, given taht things would change etc

Honestly don’t see why it needs to be a burden. It could certainly be automated, right?

Yea, but I guess fixing this old code that hasn’t been touched in years will take some work.

I’ve noticed something that might be related to the leaderboard issues for some guides. Concrete example is Shetland:

https://www.atlasobscura.com/things-to-do/shetland-islands-scotland

There are 18 Places in the guide (not 17 as it says there) yet every leader on the board has 2-3 Places max. This guide is one of a few that “collects” Places assigned to other locations

While there are 18 Places in it, only 3 actually show “Shetland Islands, Scotland” as the location. There are 5 with Lerwick, Scotland and all the rest are 1-Place towns like Burravoe.

This seems to indicate that the leaderboards are linked to the exact location names for counts, rather than everything that’s included in the guides. Other leaderboards that are probably affected are Melbourne (which includes locations assigned to Parkville and Fairfield for example) and Glasgow (East Renfrewshire and Johnstone included).
