Revitalize place submissions#291
Some of my posts have been waiting for years approved but not published while some take less than a week…is there anything authors can do to revitalize old articles?

This seems like it could be fixed by implementing the Helpdesk system discussed in another request (https://atlas-obscura-digital-product.nolt.io/widget/211). Getting a Helpdesk ticket to track discussions on submitted articles (and requiring the developers to reply within a set time period like I have to do on the Helpdesk used in my workplace) would really help to alleviate the anxiety and/or confusion that some people have.

I have since submitted two other articles that have been published, and I don’t know why those were while this one wasn’t.
@Dark Nebula Deluxe AO loves observatories (and so do I) so it totally should go on. As for the tickets, we’ve been told on the discord server that the system exists, the places team just doesn’t want to use it. Probably because they are spread thin over the #work. But imo this should absolutely get some priority, given that people are working for free for you..
