Hi team, I have noticed some Places have a header stating “AO Edited”, with a blue checkmark next to it. Could you please explain what this means and what’s the criteria for a Place to have it?
I assumed maybe it was just those of a higher quality, but out of recent Places of the Day (which I also assume are chosen because of good quality), this first set doesn’t have the mark, while the second set does:
WITHOUT:

https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/holy-well-of-st-anne
https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/fontana-s-kornjacama-fountain-with-turtles
WITH (most recent Gastro Obscura ones seem to have it)
https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/hai-som-tam-convent
https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/zadarski-barkajoli-zadar-croatia
https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/monument-to-the-battle-of-oum-tounsi
I believe that just means that AO staff has edited the text of the article. Although, I’ve had a few articles that were edited with no badge. It usually shows up when the edits are significant, though.
