Create roles for profiles based on contributor type#5

Some ideas that have been floated for this feature include people who have contributed a lot of places, photos, or edits.

Your profile could display your role/roles and potentially your avatar could have extra flair around the site.

That could be cool. You could maybe do it a bit like reddit and have some awards open up when people do enough? Maybe they appear on a tab in the profile and/or as little icons near the avatar (maybe we pick 1-3 for the last one)

Then have stuff like

Added 1,10,50,100,etc places
Edited “” places
Uploaded “” photos
Visited “” places
etc?

I think, personally, my ideal roles would be:

• Writer: has x number of published places
• Editor: has edited x number of places
• Photographer: has added x number of photographs
• Traveler: has been to x number of places
• Dreamer: has marked x number of places as want to go

And you would be able to earn more than one role.
